Mid-shift - Monday through Thursday (4/10), overtime on Friday/Saturday. Mid-shift schedule will be flexible. Benefits:

$500 total = $250 at 3 months AND $250 at 9 months of service.

Job Output

Reporting to the Initial department Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing the programming, technical support and the day-to-day guidance to the plant’s CNC machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities As an integrated member of the production team, ensure all work in the area is performed safely and in support of the Plant and Company safety rules, policies, standards and expectations.

Own the creation/development of programming for the CNC machines.

Maintain high attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving skills.

Oversee the operation of the machine ensuring safe work practices and a clean, organized CNC work area; ensure workers understand safety features and address safety concerns as needed.

Upload and set up programmed jobs, select tooling, operate the CNC machine; maintain quality and safety standards; keep production records; label products for shipment/secondary work.

Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, GD&T; interpret dimensions and tolerances.

Use calipers and other precision measuring devices.

Inspect base Marshfield raw material against quality specs to produce finished product per purchase order.

Program CNC by entering instructions, zero/reference points, tool offsets, compensation, and calculate requirements.

Set up CNC for operations with proper tooling, safety positioning, and stock handling.

Verify settings by measuring first-run parts and sample workpieces; adhere to quality standards.

Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and tool maintenance.

Document actions and maintain production/quality logs; update knowledge and participate in on-site or off-site training as needed.

Contribute to continuous improvement and assist with other tasks as needed by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No direct reports. Provides work direction to Material Handlers assigned to the CNC operation.

Travel

Minimal; less than 5% travel.

Qualifications

Knowledge of the forming process for the Marshfield products.

Ability to interact well with others to work safely and produce material meeting quality attributes and standards.

Experience with AutoCAD, Alphacam, Xylog or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is a mix of Office and Plant settings. PPE required includes Safety glasses; other PPE available upon request.

Education and/or Experience

Experience with AutoCAD, Alphacam, Xylog or equivalent preferred.
