Title: Sr. Salesforce Administrator Location: Remote USA Salary: $120000 / Year + Bonus Job Type: Full-Time | Exempt Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO. No sponsorship available Notes: This is a hands-on Senior Salesforce Administrator role (with some light development skills) for someone who knows the Salesforce platform inside and out and can also do some light development. It’s not just clicking buttons—it’s about building, designing, and optimizing Salesforce so the business runs smoother. The person in this role will configure and update Lightning, create custom apps and components (using things like Flows, LWC, Apex), and make sure Salesforce integrates well with other systems through APIs. They’ll also work directly with end users, gathering requirements, fixing issues, and training teams so the system is easy to use and delivers real value. On top of that, this person needs to be comfortable wearing many hats—data cleanup, portal development, system security, reporting, and mentoring junior team members. It’s a senior-level role where you’re trusted to solve problems independently, juggle multiple projects, and keep Salesforce aligned with business goals. Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud is a huge plus since the company is looking to evolve its data capabilities. POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the strategic configuration, development, and ongoing optimization of our client\'s Salesforce platform. This role blends deep administrative expertise with hands-on development skills to design scalable solutions, maintain data integrity, and drive system adoption across departments. Partnering closely with stakeholders, the Senior Admin will lead complex projects, build custom applications, and champion best practices to ensure the platform evolves in alignment with business goals. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the subject-matter expert for Salesforce architecture, data model, and security. Proactively recommend enhancements and new capabilities to support long-term business strategy. Design, build, and maintain declarative automations (Flows, Process Builder retirement, Approval Processes) and custom Apex triggers, classes, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Create and manage complex reports, dashboards, and analytics for leadership and cross-functional teams. Perform advanced configuration including custom objects, validation rules, and record-sharing models. Gather and translate sophisticated business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Lead requirements workshops, document user stories, and create technical specifications. Guide solution architecture for integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs or middleware. Oversee large-scale data imports/exports, deduplication, and data-quality initiatives. Implement and enforce security policies, permission sets, and role hierarchies. Conduct regular security and health audits to maintain compliance. Drive end-to-end project lifecycles: planning, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support. Collaborate with business leaders to prioritize backlogs and manage sprint deliverables. Mentor junior admins and provide technical guidance to cross-functional partners. Provide tier-2/3 support, resolving complex issues and debugging Apex code where needed. Monitor new Salesforce releases, evaluate features, and coordinate adoption. Lead end-user training sessions and develop best-practice documentation. Perform additional tasks as assigned by Business Systems leadership to advance the Salesforce ecosystem. CORE COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Must be proficient in administration of complex Salesforce instances. Must have knowledge of Salesforce as it relates to Business Development, Customer Experience, Operations, and Marketing processes. Must be able to work with internal and external stakeholders Must be able to manage multiple projects/efforts at one time Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines Must be able to start a task with minimal guidance and overcome challenges as encountered Must have a high attention to detail Must have strong written and verbal communication skills Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field 5+ years of experience in a Salesforce administrative role Familiarity with relevant programming languages a plus Proficient in other technologies a plus Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
