This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of our company. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about cost accounting and possesses a deep understanding of the financial and supply chain aspects of manufacturing. Responsibilities: Developing and implementing cost accounting systems and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting. Conducting regular variance analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures. Managing the general ledger and ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Preparing detailed sales analysis reports to aid in strategic decision making. Collaborating with the supply chain team to understand and manage production costs. Reconciling accounts and conducting financial analysis to identify trends and forecast future costs. Reviewing and updating Bill of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate product costing. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Collaborating with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits. Continually improving and streamlining accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting within the manufacturing industry. Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification would be an added advantage. Proficiency in financial accounting and reporting with a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Exceptional skills in variance analysis, sales analysis, and supply chain management. Extensive experience with account reconciliation and financial analysis. A high level of proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
