Accounting Manager / Accounting Supervisor (as described in provided content) Essential Job Functions

Ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end closings. Assists the Business Unit Controller in the daily banking requirements. Ensures the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions. Responsible for the monthly physical inventory process. Works with the Controller to ensure clean and timely internal/external audits. Ensures the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner. Supports and assists with budget and forecasting activities. Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Guides the accounting staff and other departments regarding the handling of non-routine transactions by researching and interpreting accounting policies, applying observations, and recommendations to operational issues. Responds to inquiries from Park Corporate staff as well as other business units for financial information and special reporting requests as needed. Other Job Duties

Provides training to new and existing staff as needed. Manages all personnel issues relating to staff. Works with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitors and advises on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff. Supports the Business Unit Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements. Flexible work schedule as required for job duties. Other related job duties as assigned. Required Education/Experience/Skills

Bachelors Degree in Accounting from an accredited university/college. Minimum 5 years accounting experience and minimum of 3 years supervisory experience. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Strong computer skills with emphasis on MS Excel. Strong motivation and self-starting initiative is required. Strong organizational, planning and multi-tasking skills. Strong communication skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally including across business units. Additional Experience/Skills

Manufacturing experience useful, but not required. Working knowledge of Oracle Accounting Systems including GL, INV, AP, AR, CST, WIP. Ability to operate effectively in a time-sensitive environment in order to meet deadlines. Ability to be fair, non-biased and ethical in all facets of the work environment. Ability to perform basic mathematical fundamentals - add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details. Cooperative and willing to assist others. Training Requirements

Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Attend required safety and environmental training, as determined by the EH&S office. Participate in accounting seminars/training as determined by the Accounting Department. Physical Requirements

Job requires lifting of product/supplies ranging from minimal to 45 pounds on occasional basis, and may periodically require it throughout a production shift. Individual will be required to be mobile, with bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and crouching. Repetitive use of hands and wrists for keyboard work.
