Payroll Specialist

Sherman Oaks, CA (Hybrid)

Pay Rate:

$28 - $30/hour (DOE)

Job Type:

Full-Time | Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities

Process bi-weekly payroll for 1,600 employees using

ADP Workforce Now

Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws

Maintain employee payroll records and ensure timely updates to benefits, garnishments, and deductions

Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, and benefits deductions

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing

Prepare payroll-related reports for audits, tax filings, and management as needed

Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes as they relate to payroll and benefits

Qualifications

2+ years of payroll experience using

ADP Workforce Now

(WFN) is required

Prior payroll experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred

Knowledge of wage and hour laws, especially California labor regulations

High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

Excellent communication and organizational skills
