Part Time - Assistant Manager I at Family Dollar. This role supports store operations, customer service and team development. Responsibilities
Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas Perform opening and closing procedures as needed Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities Maintain promotional effectiveness of storefront fixtures and displays Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits and receipts), and loss prevention Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards Protect and secure store assets, including cash Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure store associates follow policies Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and overall presentation Other duties as assigned Skills And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills Strong problem solving and decision-making skills Perks And Benefits
