Our client is seeking a detail-oriented
Payroll Specialist
temporarily until February 2026. This role will support the Payroll Manager with payroll administration and accounting functions. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance and supporting employees with payroll-related matters. Responsibilities
Accurately review, process, and audit employee wages, deductions, and payroll records. Enter payroll data into the system and maintain up-to-date employee information. Record and track employee transfers between departments and maintain leave records. Prepare and distribute reports on earnings, taxes, deductions, and leave balances. Troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues while serving as a resource for employee questions. Train team members and agency personnel on payroll policies and procedures as needed. Assist with month-end and year-end payroll closes in collaboration with the Payroll Manager. Maintain organized and compliant payroll records in line with company standards. Take on additional payroll projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications
Hands-on experience with UKG
payroll software (required). Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Previous payroll administration experience, preferably in a multi-department environment. Seniority level
