Tulane University . This position is responsible for bookkeeping functions, financial review, and oversight of departmental expenses and revenue recognition. Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the role includes preparing financial reports, processing invoices and purchase orders, recording deposits, serving as a Concur delegate for financial activities, performing administrative tasks such as travel management, and monitoring departmental budgets. The Coordinator will also support Campus Health leadership and staff by maintaining schedules, organizing travel, coordinating events, and managing office supplies, maintenance, and vendor relations. Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong organization and multi-tasking skills. Ability to prepare financial statements and analyze financial data accurately. Experience with financial data entry into ledgers, journals, or databases. Willingness to learn Tulane’s accounting system and related software. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact courteously at all organizational levels. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of experience in purchasing/accounts payable, OR High School Diploma and 5 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. Experience in healthcare administration, travel arrangements, expense reporting, payroll, budget management, or purchasing.
