Scientist position in the modeling of ocean-land interface processes for climate applications at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Responsibilities

Work on a range of issues related to the changing coastal ocean environment at the land-ocean nexus, including topics in sediment transport, coastal erosion, ecogeomorphology, and impacts of sea-level rise. Contribute to construction, analysis and/or application of physical models; incorporate in-situ and remote observations for model development, testing and application. Support the U.S. Department of Energy Energy Exascale Earth System Model (E3SM) collaboration. Qualifications / Desired Experience

Experience and knowledge of coastal-zone ecogeomorphology, remote sensing, and/or climate modeling. Experience in construction, analysis and/or application of physical models. Ability to incorporate observations for model development, testing and application. Application
