Under the supervision of the Director of Recruitment and Operations (AISE) in the Division of Human Resources, assist with planning and coordinating the Recruitment and Operations Office recruitment program. Attend career fairs to obtain candidates for present/future vacancies and develop interest in careers with OSC. Recruit for agency-wide vacancies as well as the internship program. Minimum Qualifications
Non-Competitive Qualifications for appointment under the NYHELPS Program: For appointment to the Human Resources Specialist Trainee 1: Bachelor’s or higher degree. For appointment to the Human Resources Trainee 2: Bachelor’s or higher degree and one year of professional human resources experience. A Juris Doctor, master’s or higher degree in a related field can substitute for one year of specialized experience. For appointment to the Human Resources Specialist 1: Bachelor’s or higher degree and two years of professional human resources experience. A Juris Doctor, master’s or higher degree in a related field and one year of professional human resources experience can substitute. Competitive Qualifications: You must be currently reachable on the appropriate eligible list, eligible under the 55 b/c program, or eligible to transfer under Civil Service Law. Transfer: For 52.6 and/or 70.1 transfer, refer to the Civil Service guidelines. See the Career Mobility GOT-IT website for eligibility details.
