Perkins Management Services is seeking experienced, energetic cooks to join our culinary team. We offer a unique opportunity for an improved quality of life in the hospitality industry. Position Summary The ideal candidate has previous experience, thrives in a busy environment, and can follow directions while multitasking effectively. Responsibilities include: Collaborating with the executive chef to create diverse menus aligned with client and company policies Properly handling, storing, and rotating all food products Coordinating food production with meal service times to ensure quality, temperature, and presentation standards are met Preparing high-quality dishes according to established menus and standards Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards throughout all food preparation stages Operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, and griddles Keeping the work area clean and well-maintained Maintaining professionalism and positive interactions with coworkers and customers Following instructions from the executive or sous chef Qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a cook Knowledge of safe food handling practices and ability to pass related exams/trainings Dependable, reliable team player with leadership qualities and excellent customer service skills Physical ability to perform tasks requiring agility, dexterity, and lifting of 20 pounds or more Perkins Management is an EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY/AFFIRMATIVE ACTION employer.
