HR Manager

to lead human resources operations, support employee engagement, and oversee critical people processes across both field and office environments. This is a dynamic, people-first role that blends day-to-day HR operations with strategic support, recruiting, and culture-building initiatives in a fast-paced construction setting. Key Responsibilities

Oversee and administer company benefits programs, ensuring employees understand offerings during onboarding and throughout employment. Partner with the Safety Department on workplace accidents, workers’ compensation claims, and incident follow-up. Coordinate and conduct phone screens and interviews – particularly for operators, truck drivers, and field staff. Manage the onboarding and orientation process for all new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company. Support and coach managers and employees on employee relations, resolving workplace issues with professionalism and empathy. Serve as backup for payroll processing as needed. Help manage a drug testing program, maintaining compliance and consistency across the organization. Contribute to internal communication and recruiting branding efforts, including support for LinkedIn and website content. Create policies and procedures. Skills and Experience

3+ years of HR experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or similarly hands-on environments. Strong understanding of benefits administration, workers' compensation, and general HR compliance. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required Comfortable handling employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance conversations. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a flexible, people-first approach. Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment. Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Additional details
