Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Payroll Administrator to join our team. The Payroll Accountant is a key member of the Finance team. Key responsibilities include the administration of payroll. This includes, but is not limited to providing solutions and support for managing and executing biweekly payroll operations, ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax codes and legal regulations are met; and serving as a key liaison with leadership, managers and employees. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred or equivalent experience. Eight (8+) plus years of demonstrated experience of Payroll Administration in a complex, multi-state organization. Experience with operating software and providing support for payroll administration. Demonstrated understanding of HR/Payroll management, ability in streamlining processes and data analysis. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to relate to and communicate with users at all levels of the organization in a positive, effective manner. Advanced experience in Excel skills (e.g. indexing/Vlookup, pivot tables, filters, tables). Ability to train non-technical users in technical topics. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others. Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills. Experience with Paylocity and/or Dayforce.
