LARGE MANUFACTURING COMPANY IN CINCINNATI OH IS LOOKING FOR A RELIABILITY ENGINEER

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE OUT OF HIGH-SPEED MANUFACTURING. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS, TPM, OEE, ETC.

SALARY RANGE: $80K-$114K SALARY

FIRST SHIFT 7AM-4PM

Responsibilities

Investigate, evaluate, and formulate long-term solutions for equipment breakdowns. Participate in breakdown analysis events with area owners to drive equipment uptime solutions through maintenance procedures, equipment trials, and failure analysis.

Work with the Assistant Maintenance Manager to assess opportunities related to maintenance technician and instrumentation engineers' work assignments. Implement enhanced programs as agreed upon.

Work with area Triad Teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities to support strategic business goals. Driving cost-saving/avoidance implementations, equipment upgrades, and assistance with installation of new equipment.

Ownership of the predictive and preventative maintenance programs (infrared analysis, program comparisons, servo settings, etc.), including frequency review, criticality assessments, and incident follow-ups.

Diagnose and repair all machinery and process, must be fluent in assigned area (mechanical or electrical) troubleshooting.

Scope and justify capital projects through a gated approval process.

Manage/support vendors for assigned areas (electrical and programming changes/upgrades or mechanical system modifications)

Responsible for driving down process losses (raw materials, product, rejects, etc.) and stewardship of the process.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of high-speed packaging and process knowledge

Strong understanding of can and bottle packaging and equipment

Experience with VFDs, control systems (PLC's/HMI's), electrical protective devices with knowledge of calibration procedures and equipment, including Fluke and Transcat a plus.

Proven analytical, problem-solving, and project management experience and skills

Able to impact and affect positive change with a flexible, open-minded, positive approach

Proficient computer skills; ability to learn and utilize CMMS and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Must be able to demonstrate the application of continuous improvement knowledge to actively participate in identifying and correcting opportunities, improving processes, including participation in the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, the creation and maintenance of preventative maintenance standards, the writing of One Point Lessons, and participation in continuous improvement methodology events.

Skilled in the application and use of mechanical tools, hand tools, and power tools.
