Responsibilities
Leading the development of annual budget and trade spend strategy for key accounts. Proactively identifying gaps/opportunities/risks and provide action plans for improvements. Managing monthly, quarterly, bi-annual meetings with each customer to review the state of the business, present new items, conduct line reviews, and customized promotional calendars. Develop business plans and sales strategies to ensure the companies sales goals and objectives. Providing excellent merchandising and category recommendations to support sales growth. Building and execute omni-channel strategy. Creating and understanding promotional budgets and activities. Lead meetings with customers to review business performance, introduce new products, conduct line reviews, and develop annual promotional execution strategies. Inputting forecasted base and incremental sales volume by sku for direct accounts. Maintaining annual sales volumes monthly, adhering to required progress reports. Providing solutions and strategies to trade spend. Preferred background
Approximately 5 years’ of experience in sales in the Conventional Grocery space. Account management responsibility in a medium-large consumer goods organization. Account management experience with Ahold or other national/regional accounts is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency using data analysis tools (SPINS/IRI/NIELSEN) Demonstrates ability to create strategies and execute plans and key initiatives. Thorough knowledge and ongoing awareness of current sales and business development concepts and practices. Open and direct communication with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely, with strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of trade fund management, forecasting, and common business analytics. Notes
This is a remote role based in either Massachusetts, Pennsylvania or Connecticut . 25 - 30% travel is anticipated. This opportunity will pay between $125,000 - $150,000 with a 20% bonus.
