Overview
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Entry Level/Hourly Programmer in various locations. This role supports the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software solutions, including requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis & design, coding and unit testing, integration, and support to formal test and delivery. The work enables NASA to explore deep space and supports the U.S. Intelligence Community. Responsibilities
Support the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software solutions: requirements analysis, OO analysis & design, code and unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. Collaborate with experienced engineers to create solutions for space missions. Assist with final systems hardware and software integration and testing; generate required documents for spacecraft delivery; complete coding and unit level testing. Basic Qualifications
Associate degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related discipline or technical training, or related work experience. Completed coursework toward a related degree may be considered. Must be a US Citizen; position located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to obtain government security clearance. Desired Skills
Ability to work in an agile environment and handle multiple priorities and internal customers. Experience with Python, Matlab, Simulink, R, or equivalent data science toolsets. Familiar with real-time development environments and languages (C, C++). Network experience – LAN/WAN/TCP/IP protocol. Information Security Domain knowledge. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Security and Clearance

Pay Rate: Base salary ranges vary by location. Example ranges: California/New York (excluding most major metro areas) $48,500 - $85,675; most major metros $55,900 - $93,035; final offer depends on location, experience, and market conditions.
