Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Entry Level/Hourly, Programmer in various locations. The role involves supporting the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software solutions, including requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, coding and unit testing, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. The position supports work enabling NASA deep space exploration and U.S. Intelligence Community initiatives. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and the facility requires special access, with a government security clearance expected. Responsibilities

In this role you will do the following: support the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software solutions to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code and unit test, integration, and support to formal test / delivery; work with experienced engineers to develop solutions for NASA and U.S. Intelligence Community needs. Basic Qualifications

Associate degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related discipline or technical training, or related work experience. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered. Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to obtain security clearance Desired Skills

Ability to work in an agile environment and handle multiple priorities and internal customers. Experience with Python, Matlab, Simulink, R, or equivalent data science toolsets. Familiar with real-time development environments and languages (C, C++) Network experience – LAN/WAN/TCP/IP Information Security Domain knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Security Clearance

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range varies by location. In California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC: $48,500 - $85,675; in other states, salary reflects final work location. The salary information is a general guideline. Benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. Some specifics vary by state and employee category. Additional Pay Rate notes: Another set of pay ranges is provided for most major metropolitan areas in California and New York: $55,900 - $93,035.
