Overview

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Entry Level/Hourly, Software Associate Degree Programmer in various locations. The role supports the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software solutions, including requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code and unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. The position involves working with experienced engineers to create solutions for NASA exploration and U.S. Intelligence Community support. Responsibilities

Support the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software solutions, including requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, coding and unit testing, integration, and support to formal test and delivery. Collaborate with experienced engineers to create solutions enabling NASA deep-space exploration and U.S. Intelligence Community support. Assist with final systems hardware and software integration and testing and generate required documents for spacecraft delivery. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in an Associate Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related discipline. Aspirations to pursue a Bachelor Degree. Must be a US Citizen; this position is at a facility that requires special access. Ability to obtain security clearance. Desired Skills:

Ability to work in an agile environment with multiple priorities and internal customers. Experience with Python, Matlab, Simulink, R, or equivalent data science toolsets. Familiar with real-time development environments and languages (C, C++). Classroom knowledge of embedded software/hardware, networks, SQL/NoSQL, Information Security Domain. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Security & Eligibility

Onsite Full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:

Various schedules available, including standard 40 hours over five days or condensed schedules. These schedules may provide additional time off in addition to Paid Time Off (PTO) benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

9x80 every other Friday off. Compensation & Benefits
