The College of Business (COB) at SUNY Poly seeks to hire a tenure-track faculty member in Finance at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on experience and educational attainment at the time of employment. The College of Business is AACSB-accredited and offers five degree programs: MS in Accounting, MBA in Technology Management, BS in Accounting, BS in Business Administration, and BS in Finance. Preference will be given to candidates who can also teach courses in the Masters of Data Science & Analytics program. We are eager to hear from candidates with commitments to both teaching and research and to SUNY Poly\'s strategic plan, mission, vision, and values. The expected start date is August 2026. Description of Duties

Teach undergraduate and graduate Finance courses, and possible Data Science & Analytics courses. A typical course load is 3 courses per semester. Maintain an active publication record that meets or exceeds the requirements for AACSB faculty qualification status (Scholarly Academic or Practice Academic). Be actively involved in student advising and mentoring, assurance of learning, and committee service at all levels of SUNY Poly. Engage in professional or academic activities in campus-based, local, regional, or broader communities to positively impact and advance the COB and SUNY Poly. Salary

Salary ranges: Assistant Professor $120,000 – $125,000; Associate Professor $125,000 – $135,000; Professor $135,000+ Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. (or ABD) in Finance or a closely related discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution. Applicants who are ABD with a clear plan for degree completion by June 15, 2026 may be considered. Additional Information
