HVAC Technician – Mission Critical

We are seeking an experienced
HVAC Technician
with a strong background in
cooling towers and mission-critical environments . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing HVAC systems to ensure continuous uptime and performance in environments where reliability and precision are paramount. Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, with emphasis on
cooling towers, chillers, AHUs, CRAC/CRAH units, and hydronic systems . Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure maximum system efficiency and compliance with
mission-critical uptime standards (Tier III/Tier IV facilities) . Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC controls, pumps, valves, and water treatment systems. Monitor and adjust system performance to maintain environmental conditions within strict tolerances. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure compliance with design and safety specifications. Collaborate with engineering, facilities, and operations teams to support
24/7 mission-critical environments . Maintain accurate records of service logs, inspections, and corrective actions. Adhere to
OSHA, ASHRAE, and EPA standards , ensuring safe operation and regulatory compliance. Support emergency response for HVAC-related system failures. Qualifications & Experience
3-5 years’ experience
in HVAC maintenance and repair, with specific expertise in
cooling tower systems . Prior experience working in
mission-critical environments
(data centers, pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals, or similar). Strong knowledge of
HVAC/DDC/BMS control systems . Familiarity with
water treatment programs
for cooling towers. EPA 608 Universal Certification (required). Journeyman HVAC License (preferred). Ability to read and interpret
blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation . Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management skills. Comfortable working in a
fast-paced, high-stakes environment
where uptime is critical. Preferred Skills
Experience with
energy management systems
and advanced building automation. Knowledge of
chilled water distribution
and hydronic balancing. Background in
industrial safety practices , including lockout/tagout and confined space. Strong communication skills to interface with clients, engineers, and facilities staff. What We Offer
