Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician
to join our dedicated team. The selected candidate will perform maintenance and repair tasks on equipment related to skilled trades, including electrician duties. The role requires a well-rounded background in hands-on work and training to address a broad spectrum of maintenance challenges. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with problem-solving abilities and a commitment to safety and quality in all tasks. Salary
$50.32/hr. plus employer paid health benefits and pension. Key Responsibilities
Examine machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose the source of trouble Dismantle or partly dismantle machines and perform repairs Replace broken or defective parts Prepare written specifications for major repairs Reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments for operation Perform electrician duties, including installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy Install or repair circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment Locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment Performs other related duties as assigned Essential Skills
Thorough knowledge of theory, methods, materials, tools, equipment, and systems used in the trade Thorough knowledge of applicable state and federal codes and regulations pertaining to the trade Ability to read and understand blueprints as appropriate to the trade Ability to perform standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring and electrical equipment Use of electrician's hand tools, measuring and testing instruments Adaptable and flexible in work situations Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion Practices workplace safety in the use of tools, equipment, and supplies, including proper use of PPE High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years’ experience as a maintenance mechanic/electrician Experience in an industrial or commercial facilities maintenance environment MUST
have a Top Secret Clearance MUST
have SCI eligibility Valid driver’s license compliant with REAL ID Act or ability to obtain one Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Regular, dependable attendance U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations Preferred Qualifications
TS/SCI clearance Certifications Formal apprenticeship Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Use of hands, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and walking Prolonged periods of sitting, bending, squatting, standing, twisting, or stooping Climbing ladders and entering confined spaces May spend long hours in awkward positions which can cause physical discomfort May stand for long periods and frequently work on ladders and scaffolds Work indoors or outdoors in various temperatures and weather conditions * Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
