Salary:
$150,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Advise clients on the federal and state tax implications of business dealings, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings. Lead in tax strategizing, planning, and compliance for various corporate and partnership structures. Draft and review critical tax documents such as partnership and operating agreements. Research complex tax issues and offer detailed analyses and solutions. Closely collaborate with colleagues in the corporate legal sector on various business transactions, ensuring tax efficiency and compliance. Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a top-tier law school with strong academic performance. Must have an LL.M. in Taxation. Active bar admission in Florida or eligible for admission. 2–4 years experienced in tax law, focusing on transactional matters. Previous experience in a large law firm setting. Preferred Qualifications: Extensive experience in complex business transactions such as securities offerings and corporate finances. Proven ability to handle joint ventures and similar arrangements. Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and communication skills. Capability to operate independently and within a team in a high-performance environment. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills tailored to a legal framework. Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. High level of professionalism and an ability to work discreetly with confidential information.
