In this role, you’ll partner with internal and enterprise stakeholders to drive strategic financial planning and decision support for high-visibility initiatives. You’ll help shape the future of Walmart Connect while contributing to solutions that support Walmart’s mission and customers. What you'll do
Lead the development, consolidation, and analysis of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans for Walmart Connect, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth targets. Partner closely with Strategy, Business Operations, Product, and Sales teams to provide financial guidance, scenario modeling, and decision support for strategic initiatives and new business opportunities. Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial performance reports, including variance analysis, key drivers, and actionable insights for senior leadership. Drive the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy in revenue recognition, expense accruals, and alignment with GAAP and internal policies. Conduct in-depth ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to evaluate business cases, investment opportunities, and operational performance across the revenue organization. Develop and enhance management reporting dashboards and KPIs to monitor business performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision making. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial planning and reporting cycles. What You'll Bring Deep expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting in a complex, fast-paced environment. Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate large data sets into actionable business insights. Strong business partnership experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and support business objectives. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information for broad audiences, including senior executives. Proven track record of process improvement and driving efficiency in financial planning and reporting cycles. High attention to detail, organizational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity, thriving in dynamic environments and responding quickly to changing business needs. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00–$180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses; stock may be available for some positions. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area. At least 1 year of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects. At least 1 year of supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications
