As a Senior Robot Service Technician at 1X, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our humanoid robots. You’ll focus primarily on advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and remanufacturing of key robot assemblies—while also supporting field service when needed. You will partner with the engineering and service teams to refine serviceability and improve repair processes, all with a customer‑facing component when escalated repair or technical explanation is required. Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs of robots, addressing complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues both in the workshop and at customer locations. Execute remanufacturing and refurbishment of robotic assemblies, ensuring components are restored to optimal performance. Provide support to field service technicians, offering guidance on difficult technical issues and handling escalated repairs. Collaborate with the service engineering team to identify recurring issues and recommend design improvements for better serviceability. Communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical repairs and maintenance in a clear and understandable manner, while ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Document all service activities—complex repairs, parts usage, remanufacturing procedures—maintaining clear and detailed records. Contribute to creating and refining service documentation, repair manuals, and troubleshooting guides. Maintain tools and equipment in the workshop, ensuring they are calibrated, well‑maintained, and ready for advanced repair tasks. Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair, especially in robotics or a technical environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing and fixing advanced technical issues Proficiency with diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and software used for complex repairs and remanufacturing Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently on advanced technical repairs Excellent communication skills, with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both customers and colleagues Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site escalated repairs Valid driving license Willingness to work shifts Benefits & Compensation
