DESCRIPTION: Aid in identifying, evaluating, and resolving humanrelations and work performance problems with organizations to facilitatecommunication and improve employee human relations skills and work performanceby performing the following duties. Primary Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provideexcellent Guest Service through active guest engagement and positiveattitude. Talksinformally with organization personnel and attends meetings of managers,supervisors, and work units. Shall be required to read,implement, and adhere to all NWCR Policies and Procedures, LVD GamingOrdinance, Tribal/State Gaming Compact, NIGC Minimum Internal ControlStandards, Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, LVD Tribal Internal ControlStandards, Title 31 Minimum Internal Control Standards, NWCR CasinoEmployee Handbook, Human ResourcesDepartment Policy and Procedure Manual Evaluateswork related problems and meets with supervisors and managers to determineeffective remediation techniques. CoordinatesEmployees Assistance Program. Workswith LVD Education and Behavioral Health Liaison to track GED participantsand ensure policy is being followed. SupportHuman Resources Director by fulfilling duties that are necessary in theirabsence. Gathersand analyzes information skillfully; uses reason even when dealing withemotional topics. Pursuestraining and development opportunities. Speaksclearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Writesclearly and informatively. Ableto read and interpret written information. Exhibitsconfidence in self and others. Showrespect and sensitivity for cultural differences. Promotesa harassment-free environment. MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS: HighSchool Diploma or G.E.D. Fifthyear college or university program certification; or two to four yearsrelated experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educationand experience. Abilityto read analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals,professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Abilityto write reports. Abilityto effectively present information and respond to questions from groups ofmanagers. Mustpass background checks and other pre-employment screenings. PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS: Shouldhave knowledge of Database software; Human Resources systems; InternetSoftware; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and wordprocessing software.
