Water Treatment Sales Manager - Western Region

Sales & Training Department Full-time Field

What We Are Looking For The Western US Water Treatment Sales Manager’s scope will include California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, TX (El Paso ONLY), Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii. The ideal candidate for this position must be experienced in the water softening / treatment industry and should be familiar with both the residential and commercial market segments. They are experienced at creating, articulating, and presenting high-level presentations and must be a person of integrity. They must also be able to work well in a team environment. Essential attributes include excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to multitask and remain focused in high-pressure situations. This position is actively involved in partnering with the Water Treatment Team, Sales Team Members and our sales representatives.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed all sales and training goals.

Work closely with sales force, contractor and wholesaler base to introduce newly developed water treatment systems by Navien, while developing sales volume with our existing Water Treatment products.

Training all channels on Navien Water Treatment products will be required for this role.

Develop new opportunities through lead generation, relationship building, networking and cold calling;

Develop new business opportunities and relationships in both the residential and commercial markets through various sales distribution channels including wholesale and water dealers

Manage key customer relationships that deliver long term business and new opportunities for expansion and service;

Clearly communicate the benefits of Navien’s new technologies;

Attend sales meetings and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and reporting;

Monitor and analyze field sales reports, interpret results, and take corrective action to achieve sales targets;

Maintain a positive working relationship with distributors and sales outlets;

Exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction;

Timely communication with clients, including conflict resolution as required, and managing account profitability;

To conduct ongoing comprehensive product training to all sales outlets/distributors and sales agency staff.

Resolve customer complaints and assist technical service with problem resolution;

Assist in recruitment and selection of manufacturer’s representative agencies;

Be willing to respond to phone calls and emails both day and night;

Up to 70% of travel expected;

Requirements

Outstanding presentation skills, with the ability to combine professional, persuasive, and personable delivery

Self-starter who can prioritize and balance responsibilities

Experience in sales in the water industry

Understand the water industry and sales channel structure

Technical Sales experience and engineering background (to understand the tech aspects of our products)

Experience working with Water Treatment Dealers

Already established professional network within the water treatment industry and proven sales records.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree Engineering or Business

Solid understanding of plumbing and water treatment systems

Proficient in MS office tools

5+ years of sales experience

Pay Scale: $120k-130k Annually (DOE) & Annual Bonus Opportunity!
