We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Workers’ Compensation Administrator
to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring our workers’ compensation claims are handled efficiently, compliantly, and with care. As a self-insured staffing company, we manage claims in-house, and the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of work comp laws, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple claims across different jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for all work comp claims from intake to closure Review injury reports and ensure timely filing with appropriate state agencies and TPAs Coordinate with adjusters, healthcare providers, internal departments, and injured employees Track lost time, medical-only, and indemnity claims, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate Maintain compliance with all applicable workers’ compensation laws and reporting requirements Prepare OSHA logs and internal safety reports Identify trends, flag potential fraud, and recommend corrective or preventative actions Assist with return-to-work planning and light-duty placement when appropriate Support internal audits and risk management initiatives Work closely with HR and operations to ensure consistent safety practices across all placements Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in workers’ compensation claims administration (staffing industry experience preferred) Strong understanding of multi-state work comp regulations (especially for self-insured employers) Experience communicating with TPAs, carriers, medical providers, and injured workers Proficient in claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a self-insured environment Knowledge of OSHA reporting and workplace safety compliance Familiarity with staffing industry operations and light-duty accommodations Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding company The company offers a range of benefits, including 401(k), medical insurance, vision insurance, and paid time off.
