Asset Management Operations Manager , you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping operational excellence across our multi-family portfolio. This is a high-impact position where your expertise in affordable housing programs (LIHTC, PBV/HCV, PSH) and your ability to streamline processes will directly influence resident satisfaction, portfolio performance, and community outcomes.
We’re looking for a self-starter who thrives on solving complex challenges, building scalable systems, and guiding teams through change. If you’re passionate about driving results while keeping compliance and quality at the forefront, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Lead operational initiatives, system rollouts, and process improvements that elevate portfolio performance.
Partner with Resident Services to resolve escalated resident concerns and strengthen community relationships.
Create and enforce clear policies and procedures to ensure consistency across properties.
Conduct site visits, budget reviews, risk assessments, and due diligence for acquisitions and management transitions.
Monitor and analyze portfolio performance metrics, market trends, and property conditions to drive data-informed decisions.
Oversee compliance efforts including MORs, REAC/NSPIRE inspections, and Fair Housing/ADA requirements.
Collaborate on capital planning, budgeting, and special projects to optimize portfolio value.
Mentor and train property teams to achieve operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
What You Bring
10+ years of multifamily property management experience, including regional oversight.
Deep knowledge of affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, PBV, Section 8) and regulatory compliance.
Proven success with inspections (MOR, REAC/NSPIRE) and risk management.
Skilled in property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI) and Microsoft Office.
Strong leadership, policy implementation, and decision-making skills.
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, reporting, and KPI tracking.
Excellent communicator, collaborator, and problem solver.
Preferred certifications:
CPM, HCCP, CAM
Valid driver’s license required.
