This includes developing standards and processes for the maintenance and disposal of IT assets. The role ensures IT asset data is captured, accurately recorded, and updated in a timely manner within the Cherwell platform. The IT Asset Manager will develop and implement processes and procedures for tracking Enterprise assets and for sustaining compliance throughout the asset lifecycle.**Job Responsibilities:** *List of general activities, duties and/or tasks typically performed within the job**.** Develop best practice standards, processes and measurements that enable the organization to manage the IT asset portfolio.* Ensure the accuracy of the IT asset inventory and configuration items throughout the asset lifecycle.* Develop, implement, and improve Asset Management procedures to meet operational requirements.* Maintain hardware standards and validated product lists.* Input, maintain, update, track and report on all IT assets throughout the asset life cycle.* Audit hardware and software assets against the installed base.* Provide updates and training to other personnel on processes, tools, and reports.* Define metrics, data collection, and reporting on the effectiveness of IT asset management processes.* Perform routine maintenance tasks and related processes.The above statement of duties is not intended to be all inclusive and other duties will be assigned from time to time.**Job Requirements:*** Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or business administration, or equivalent combination of education and/or related professional work experience* 7+ years of related experience* Salesforce licensing experience* Workday licensing experience* Preferred: + ServiceNow experience + ITIL certification + CITAM certification + 5+ years of managing Microsoft Enterprise Agreement + Software asset management experience + Flexera experience + Cherwell System Administrator certification#LI-SWIf youre ready to help make a difference, apply today.
