JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as a Environmental Continuing Services (Sustainability Specialist) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as City of Tallahassee (TLH) | Department of Environmental Services & Facilities Management Generally Located In Tallahassee - Florida 32306 and across the Southeastern Region. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Develop and implement sustainability policies for municipal operations. Support ISO 14001 certification processes. Create metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of climate change mitigation strategies. Lead sustainability workshops DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
In-depth knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001). EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy, Sustainability, or related field; 3–7 years of sustainability experience. LEED or equivalent certification preferred; grant writing and community engagement experience desirable. SKILLS
Policy development, grant writing, and public outreach. Excellent oral and written communication skills Problem-solving and critical thinking Strong interpersonal skills Leadership and adaptability Innovative thinking and systems approach. ANCILLARY DETAILS OF THE ROLES
Gaining buy-in from diverse stakeholders for long-term sustainability initiatives. Works closely with Program Managers and Environmental Scientists to embed sustainability principles across project lifecycles. OTHER DETAILS
