Information Technology Analyst II – Glastonbury, CT. The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch, Court Support Services Division, is seeking an
Information Technology Analyst II
to serve as a Software Developer. This position will be assigned to the Case Management Information System (CMIS) team within the Information Technology department. The selected candidate will analyze, design, code and test moderately complex software applications, data and reports; configure and install application packages; write technical program specifications and technical system specifications; troubleshoot and support production issues; and coordinate entry-level tasks in support of project management. Experience with the following is preferred: .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Razor .NET MVC and Web Forms Architecture Web UI design principles, including responsive and accessible design Development of .NET Web Services (WCF and/or Web API) SQL Server 2016 or higher Creating and modifying table structures and relationships Developing and debugging stored procedures, views, and functions Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be able to manage concurrent assignments, work closely with technical and non-technical staff, and communicate technical information in an easily digestible manner to a wide audience. Benefits and Work Arrangements
Upon hire, hybrid remote work may be available. Salary Range: $102,188 - $135,568/year plus State of Connecticut benefits. New employees begin at the minimum; starting salary for existing state employees may be higher in accordance with Judicial Branch policy. The Judicial Branch offers a comprehensive benefits package including health and retirement benefits; paid holidays, vacation, sick and personal leave; group life insurance; 457 Deferred Compensation; flexible spending programs; and related ancillary benefits. General Experience:
Six (6) years of experience in information technology (IT), programming, systems/software development or another IT-related field with a concentration in the position area. Special Experience:
One (1) year of the General Experience must have been at the Information Technology Analyst I level or its equivalent.
Substitutions Allowed: College training in management information systems, computer science, electrical engineering or related area may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equaling six (6) months of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree. A Masters degree in management information systems, computer science, electrical engineering or related area may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the General Experience. Relevant certification in management information systems, computer science, electrical engineering, project management or related area may be substituted for up to six (6) months of the general experience. Special Requirement:
Incumbents may be required to travel within the State in the course of their daily work. Application Deadline
