Software Customization Specialist Responsibilities
Act as a point of contact for customers, distributors, and Flowbird departments for requests related to software customization of Flowbird paystations. Ensure availability and consistency of professional assistance to define/modify, design, test and deliver machine software in accordance with Flowbird delivery guidelines. Organize training sessions for distributors and Flowbird sales resources to enable them to handle their own clients and better define their needs. Receive software requests from the Sales Administration team; verify each request against a formal Purchase Order; identify the software, graphics and other deliverables required. Responsible for all aspects of software creation for Flowbird paystations including UI, screenflow, customization options, back office/advanced feature sets and rate structures. Record and track all requests in the ticket system through closure. Maintain lead times for software deliveries as per manager’s expectations. Assist clients when submitting software forms; collect needs and help them understand how the machine works and what can be modified to meet operational needs. Create screen flow documents for all software submissions for customer approval. Write functional specifications for submission and approval prior to any complex development. Maintain a documented repository of all customization, including binaries, specifications, and related information to rebuild a configuration with the same context. Escalate major issues to technical support staff and/or management. Test each software delivery prior to forwarding it to Support and Validation. Ensure proper delivery of customization to Support and Validation or Manufacturing departments. Propose procedural and product improvements related to machine software and customization; contribute to continuous improvement of Flowbird Operations website. Provide backup support for Help Desk if needed and when time permits. Remain up‑to‑date with Flowbird software technology. Organize training sessions for Flowbird internal clients, distributors and end customers on client‑facing back‑end systems to enable limited client autonomy with deployed systems. Support customers in all aspects of software troubleshooting and resolution. Qualifications

demonstrated use of intermediate computer operations (basic understanding of HTML programming, relational databases and operating systems) and intermediate software packages. About us
