We are seeking highly motivated PhD Students to join our team! Our group applies molecular simulations to study the structure and dynamics of biomolecules, especially those involving glycans, such as lectins, glycosyltransferases, and glycopolymers. The Ph.D. student will apply cutting-edge molecular simulations, enhanced-sampling methods, and machine learning to study the glycopolymers and their cellular uptake mechanism. The research is conducted in collaboration with multiple experimental groups. Some other potential research projects are also available. Required Qualification: 4-year bachelor's or master’s degree in Biomedical engineering, Computer Science, Biophysics, Physics, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or equivalent (required at the time of enrolment to the Ph.D. study program) Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English High level of commitment to complete the Ph.D. study Some prior experience in programming (preferably Python) and/or performing molecular simulations is required. The position will start in Fall 2025 and includes a fully funded Ph.D. scholarship covering the entire four-year tuition and stipend. The applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
