Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Proteomics Bench Scientist. Ideal candidates should have a MSc with 5+ years of experience or a PhD with 0+ years of experience in proteomics and mass spectrometry. Responsibilities
Develop proteomics workflows using advanced high-resolution mass spectrometry techniques; develop and optimize sample preparation methods from cell lines and other matrices for MS analysis and data processing with various bioinformatics tools. Collaborate with colleagues to advance innovative proteomics strategies. Process and document all activities in an electronic lab notebook (ELN). Demonstrate expertise in LC-MS based proteomics; experience with cell culture and cell manipulation is a plus. Requirements
MSc with 5+ years or PhD with 0+ years in a relevant scientific field with documented experience in proteomics and mass-spectrometry. Advanced knowledge and documented expertise with mass-spectrometry based proteomics approaches: label- or label-free quantification (TMT or DIA). Experience with high-resolution mass-spectrometry instruments, such as Orbitraps and timsTOF. Experience with sample preparation based on enrichment (incl. affinity purification), and universal protein extraction. Bioinformatics skills relevant for mass-spec data search, statistical analysis and visualization. Preferable: Experience with membrane protein analysis and/or cell surface proteomics. Knowledge of cell culture techniques and experience conducting cell-based assays. Benefits
