The Senior Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical construction projects from conception to completion. This includes planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager will acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Project Management Expertise: Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects. Capable of producing and maintaining a project schedule. Client and Customer Focus: Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations. Knowledgeable with construction documents, including the ability to read drawings and specifications. Thorough understanding of the construction process. Knowledge of methods and tools used for risk assessment and mitigation of risk. Technical Acumen: Should have mechanical aptitude. Should have a strong knowledge and understanding of code and practical installation processes. Software Proficiency: Knowledge of MS Office Programs, and general computer knowledge (project management, estimating and accounting software). Preferred Education and Qualifications
Education: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. Experience: Eight (8) years construction trade experience, preferably in the electrical trade. Licensure: NC State Unlimited or Masters License or equivalent from another state.
