Civica Law has an immediate opening in its Irvine office for a City Prosecutor with 1-4 years’ criminal prosecution or defense experience and a valid CA Bar license. The attorney in this role will prosecute misdemeanor code violations for clients throughout the state and will handle all aspects of criminal prosecutions, including evaluating law enforcement reports for filing determinations; preparing criminal complaints; arguing pre-trial motions; and handling arraignments, pre-trials, jury trials, sentencing, and post-conviction hearings. Attorney will travel to various courts in Southern California to represent our clients. A valid driver’s license is preferred. Our areas of practice focus on serving cities and counties in protecting and improving their communities.Candidates must be adaptable and possess solid organizational, writing, and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.In addition, the right candidate will be proactive and versatile, and will have the ability to think and operate independently to solve unique issues as they are faced by the firm.
