The Extended Warranty Division, DMI, focuses on developing, implementing, and expanding district sales initiatives and relationships with each business partner. The goal is to increase HCA presence and support for vehicle service contracts, prepaid maintenance, GAP, and other vehicle protection products to exceed annual sales objectives. What You Will Do
Attain HCA goals within the assigned sales district in the following areas: dealer conversion to the Hyundai-branded Finance and Insurance (F&I) program, including: Dealer enrollment and activation through consultative sales and aligned deal structures Planning and implementation for dealer income development Dealer F&I office training and support Vehicle Service Contracts Prepaid Maintenance / Maint. Wrap Excess Wear and Tear All other related F&I products With mentorship from the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), perform dealer sales relationship training for increased effectiveness. Become a trusted advisor; serve as the primary contact for dealers in the district to handle F&I challenges. Develop and execute the district’s sales action plan in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager and Insurance, prioritizing dealer contact activity within the district. Personal development – seek opportunities for professional growth in F&I product knowledge and service delivery; perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
What You Will Bring 2-4 years automotive retail management (F&I Manager experience preferred) and/or equivalent experience Experience as an Extended Warranty and/or F&I field sales representative 1+ year of F&I specific experience (may be included in 2-4 years above) Menu selling experience Proficiency in selling the F&I product suite Captive experience preferred Adept at dealer conversion, income development, product knowledge, and related skills BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred Formal F&I training (JM&A, Pat Ryan, Allstate, etc.) preferred Strong field sales and dealer support skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets Broad knowledge of Extended Warranty and F&I program design and implementation Ability to analyze difficult situations and resolve issues; effective communication at all levels Computer proficiency and adaptability to growing tech skills Note: Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking; work is performed in an office and external field environment with extensive travel involved.
