Legal Assistant - Family Law
We are seeking a Legal Assistant - Family Law to provide high-level administrative and legal support to our Family Law team. This role offers a competitive salary of up to $95,000.00 per year and is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment. You will be responsible for document preparation, case file management, client communication, and supporting attorneys with daily operations. Key Responsibilities
Legal Document Preparation: Transcribe, edit, proofread, and file legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence Client & Attorney Support: Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and handle professional client communications File & Case Management: Organize, maintain, and manage legal files in accordance with firm procedures Billing & Administrative Tasks: Assist with billing, maintain contact lists, and provide general administrative support Court Filings: Prepare and process court documents, including manual and electronic filings Required Experience
2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or similar administrative role in a law firm Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software (Surepoint, NetDocuments) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Preferred Experience
Experience in family law or litigation support Knowledge of e-filing court systems and legal document formatting Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience There are no costs for candidates utilizing our services as our clients pay for all related hiring fees.
