Associate or Full Professor, Economics (Tenured)

Job Description: The Department of Economics at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management, invites applications from qualified candidates for a tenured faculty position with a research emphasis in experimental economics. Preference will be given to candidates whose research has demonstrated ways to combine experimental economics and AI methodologies. The faculty member will teach in-person courses on campus at graduate and undergraduate levels and contribute to mentoring students. This position is responsible for leading the Economic Science Laboratory (ESL) and participating in outreach and departmental, college, and university service. Responsibilities: Perform significant and continuing scholarly research in experimental economics and AI methodologies, resulting in publications in leading academic journals. Teach in undergraduate and graduate programs. Lead the Economic Science Laboratory. Train and mentor doctoral students. Serve the university through various committee assignments and enhance their external stature. Qualifications: Associate Professor: Ph.D. in Economics or related field from an accredited institution. Evidence of considerable teaching success, high-quality publications, a strong research pipeline, and successful leadership experience. Full Professor: Ph.D. in Economics or related field from an accredited institution. Experience holding a tenured position in an accredited institution or equivalent qualifications in research, teaching, and service. Preferred Qualifications: Record of research combining experimental economics and AI methodologies.
