Overview
May Center is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to manage a range of HR operations for 300+ employees supporting Residential Programs and Day Rehabilitation Centers for our Eastern, MA Adult Division. Weekly day travel to Revere, MA and Randolph, MA as well as other programs within the Metro Boston area.
Responsibilities
Facilitates human resources activities to guide employees through the employment lifecycle.
Onboarding coordination
LOA & WC Coordination
General HR Questions
Employee Relations – investigating incidents/concerns/complaints, conflict management and mediation
Coaching & Counseling Managers on employee incidents, performance management & progressive discipline
Employee Engagement – New Hire Check-in Program, site visits, employee forums
Offboarding activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
SHRM or PHR Certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of human resources experience.
Good working knowledge of labor and employment laws and practices.
Workplace investigation experience required.
Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
