This position requires a strong understanding of multi-state compliance, tax regulations, and a passion for process improvement.
️ Key Responsibilities
Process two bi-weekly payrolls for exempt, non-exempt, and bonus-eligible employees Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations Administer wage garnishments, child support, and tax levies Track and verify leave-related time entries (FMLA, state-specific, and company policies) Conduct regular audits of payroll data and system configurations Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide policy guidance Draft internal memos and manage information requests Maintain and improve payroll SOPs and support related projects
Required Skills
2+ years of experience in multi-unit/multi-state payroll processing Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance standards Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., Paycom), data entry, and timekeeping Ability to manage multiple priorities and requests across departments Excellent communication and organizational skills Self-motivated with a process-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with garnishment and benefit administration Ability to create and maintain clear organizational systems Commitment to delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $55000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Fargo,ND.
