Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturing client to find a full time Manufacturing Engineer for their plant located just 30 minutes south of Cookeville, TN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction
- Design and modify tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production goals
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for production issues
- Implement lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, standard work, etc.)
- Support new product introductions and engineering changes
- Develop and maintain process documentation (work instructions, PFMEA, control plans)
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective actions as needed
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in Engineering preferred
- Experience with plastic extrusion (required), welding, stamping, and automated assembly lines.
- Automotive industry background and knowledge of IATF, L ean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ISO/TS standards
- Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. Client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
