Licensing Analyst | Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA), JC-495091 – California Department of Public Health (CDPH). This role provides analytical support in facility license and applications within the Facility Licensing Program, Laboratory Licensing and Registration Section, Laboratory Field Services (LFS) Branch. The incumbent reports to the Examiner III, Section Chief of the Tissue and Blood Banks, Biologics, Cytology Section. Responsibilities

The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA), acting as the Licensing Analyst, independently provides a variety of complex analytical support related to facility licenses and applications. Key activities include: Provide analytical support in license and registration processes within the Facility Licensing Program. Work under the direction of the Examiner III, Section Chief, Tissue and Blood Banks, Biologics, Cytology Section, LFS Branch. Support preparation of licensure actions, inspections, and related compliance activities. Desirable Qualifications

New to California State Service: you must take and pass the examination for this classification. Current state employees without transfer or list eligibility must also complete and pass the examination to qualify for this position. This position may be eligible for telework up to three days per week with in-person reporting to the headquarters location a minimum of two days per week. Telework is at the Department’s discretion and subject to change. California residency is required for telework eligibility. Business travel may be required; commute expenses are the responsibility of the selected candidate. The headquarters office location is identified in the attached duty statement.
