Overview

Sr. Enterprise Account Engineer, National Security. AWS National Security team is seeking a technically strong Enterprise Account Engineer (EAE) to support customers across technologies including Compute, Storage, Database, Machine Learning, Big Data, Security, Networking, Serverless and more. This is not a sales role, but an opportunity to be the principal technical advisor and the voice of the customer to organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises. As an EAE, you will help craft and execute strategies to drive customers’ adoption and use of AWS services. Your technical acumen and customer-facing skills will enable you to represent AWS within a customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support and risk management. You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep customers’ AWS environments operationally healthy. The position may require travel 10% or more as needed. This role will require that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. Responsibilities

Deliver strategic technical engagements: lead comprehensive technical deep-dives and resilient optimization for autonomous systems and operations Architect innovative solutions: design and implement mission-ready autonomous systems and operations using secure and resilient cloud-native solutions Enable customer success: support customers in implementing secure and resilient solutions in support of autonomous systems and operations Drive technical excellence: collaborate with service teams to enhance cloud-native AI/ML focused solutions for autonomous systems and operations Build strategic relationships: develop and nurture technical partnerships with enterprise stakeholders Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of technical engineering experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for one of the following: Compute / Storage / Networking / CDN / Databases / AI/ML / DevOps / Big Data and Analytics / Security / Applications Development in a distributed systems environment Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline required, or 5 years of equivalent work experience Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical lead Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred Qualifications

7+ years of technical engineering experience in operational parameters and troubleshooting for three or more of the following: Compute / Storage / Networking / CDN / Databases / DevOps / Big Data and Analytics / Security / Applications Development in a distributed systems environment Experience in Information Technology operations Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more decision maker(s) Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment Experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings Federal/DoD Clearances Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
