Job Summary We are seeking a Grid Systems Project Manager / Solution Architect to provide utility grid operations modernization consulting services for electric utility clients. This 12-month contract is part of the Enterprise System & Integration team, focused on delivering high-value enterprise solution services using leading technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong electric utility business and technology acumen and provide professional consulting services focused on SCADA, EMS, OMS, DMS, ADMS, and DERMS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, design, develop, and implement SCADA, EMS, OMS, DMS, ADMS, and DERMS solutions.
Support commissioning, testing, and deployment of grid operations systems.
Provide field support, troubleshooting, and coordination for SCADA and advanced distribution applications.
Lead or assist with program estimating, planning, budgeting, and delivery execution.
Support all phases of project execution including analysis, design, build, test, and deployment.
Ensure successful project completion within budget, scope, and quality standards.
Act as application and solution architect across technical architecture teams.
Lead business process design and application requirements gathering.
Create integration solutions and validate architecture designs.
Provide executive-level communications and status reporting.
Coordinate project interdependencies and ensure timely system implementation.
Influence project execution processes and quality assurance protocols.
Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise or operations architecture and integration solutions.
Minimum 5 years of GE e-terra ADMS experience and 3 years of GE e-terra OMS experience.
Strong enterprise architecture and integration skills including data, cloud, and middleware.
Experience in large-scale enterprise transformation projects.
Experience with electric utility clients and operational systems such as OMS, DMS, ADMS, AMI, and DER.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
Experience developing executive-level technology assessments and roadmaps.
S. Citizenship required.
Travel requirement: Less than 50% (DMV/MVR background check required).
