$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Your Role As a Client Accounting Associate, you will play a central role in our client accounting team. You will perform intermediate to experienced level accounting functions, following general accounting rules, principles, and procedures. Your responsibilities include identifying client needs and pain points, applying your foundational accounting knowledge to uncover potential issues, and gathering the necessary information for cleaning up client books, including reconciliations, closings, accounts (AP/AR), payroll, and financial statements. You will work closely with clients to resolve issues and maintain their books on an ongoing basis, building trust and fostering strong partnerships. Additional duties involve participating in and working with the tax team for any planning the client may need and utilizing their accounting software (mostly QuickBooks) applications.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
3+ years in a bookkeeping or accounting position, preferably in public accounting
Skills:
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (ProAdvisor required to be up to date each year) as well as experience with tax software a plus; Microsoft Office Suite, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity or experience handling payroll.
Client Interaction:
Ability to work well and build strong trusted relationships with clients.
