Senior Application Support Analyst - Databricks

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Support & Data Platform Analyst to provide hands-on support for complex, integrated systems in a cloud-based data environment.
This role is ideal for a technically strong, highly collaborative professional with deep experience in data platforms, analytics, and Agile delivery.
Must be willing to be on-call periodically, Monday through Friday, 8 AM–2 PM ET or 2 PM–8 PM ET
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for highly complex integrated systems and cloud-based data platforms.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues related to software, data, and data processing errors.
Oversee application support for new releases, including implementation, testing, and production support.
Maintain project and application documentation, schedules, system scope, and requirements.
Coordinate tasks and functional reviews across development teams, ensuring timely execution.
Document end-user interactions and technical resolutions in automated tracking tools.
Lead administrative assignments, contingency testing, and act as a team leader when needed.
Monitor system stability, availability, and performance of CDP (Customer Data Platform) platforms, analytics and reporting systems.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
Report on support operations, system performance, and incident trends to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 6 years of relevant technical experience.
Strong technical experience in R/SparklyR, Databricks, Starburst, Collibra, Python, Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, data lakes, and cloud platforms.
Experience in Agile/SAFe frameworks, requirements engineering, backlog management, and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to perform independent research, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop creative solutions.
Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills with experience in root-cause analysis.
Excellent verbal, written, and technical communication skills; capable of training and mentoring others.
Familiarity with application and data modeling techniques and ability to articulate technical concepts to varied audiences.
Certifications such as CBAP or Agile Analysis preferred.
Must meet requirements to access confidential supervisory information.
