Lead backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications across CrowdStrike products Leverage and build cloud-based systems to detect targeted attacks and automate cyber threat intelligence production at a global scale Brainstorm, define and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams Mentor and be mentored by other developers on web, backend, and data storage technologies Continuously re-evaluate our product to improve architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance and stability Own your work in a high-trust environment with autonomy Work with the following technology stack: Go (Golang), AWS/GCP/Azure/Kubernetes, Kafka, Git, Cassandra, Docker, Redis What You'll Need:
Degree in Computer Science (or professional experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems) Understanding of scalability and distributed systems (sharding, partitioning, concurrency, etc.) Team player with strong collaboration skills Strong engineering practices including testing paradigms, code reviews, and resilient architecture Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative environment Ability to meet commitments with high-quality, unit-tested code checked in regularly for CI Bonus Points:
Contributions to open-source communities (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging) Experience with Go, Scala, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch Prior experience in cybersecurity or intelligence fields Experience in designing or implementing programming languages and/or compilers Interesting hobbies Benefits Of Working At CrowdStrike:
