Accounting Manager (4 days in office; 1 day remote) Compensation:
Base + Bonus + Equity We’re seeking an
Accounting Manager
to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting for a small U.S. distribution operation. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day transactions, month-end close activities, and financial reporting, while working closely with operational teams to ensure accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities
Manage and record daily transactions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets Oversee month-end close activities such as payroll journal review, accruals, depreciation, bank reconciliations, and inventory reconciliations Collaborate with operational teams to ensure proper transaction booking, accruals, and provisions Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time to produce reliable financial reports Prepare and reconcile payroll tax filings Handle the preparation and filing of company tax returns Ensure financial records remain compliant with relevant regulations Perform project costing and support project accounting as needed Manage the annual financial audit process with external auditors Seniority level
