Job Description - Federal Program Coordinator (00071) (25142398) Position Title and notes: Please include dates of employment and your supervisor’s name/phone number for each position. Responsibilities
The Title IV A Program Coordinator oversees and facilitates the use of program funding in eligible school districts across Montana. Collaborates with the OPI Federal Programs Team, district educational leaders, and programmatic partners and stakeholders. Oversees district implementation in the areas of well-rounded education, safe and healthy schools, and technological innovations. Oversees monitoring and data collection and reporting efforts at local and federal levels. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Behaviors)
Ability to negotiate and work with conflict effectively. Self-starter on projects. Adheres to high ethical standards and demonstrates a strong work ethic. Proficient analytical skills in planning, organizing and conducting job duties. Utilizes technology for training and visual presentations, including online learning platforms and websites. Ability to measure program outcomes effectively. Knowledge of educational systems, classroom instruction, research, and best practices. Reliable and dependable in performing job duties. Effective communication and professional speaking skills. Ability to advocate, educate, and be accountable. Continuing professional knowledge in relevant technical areas. Strong writing skills in a professional manner. Teamwork and collaboration with diverse individuals, groups, and stakeholders inside and outside state government. Ability to organize large amounts of information and prioritize efficiently. Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate complex projects and tasks. Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience)
Bachelor’s degree in education, mental health, substance prevention or treatment, business, public administration or related field. Three years of combined experience in education, grants management, budgeting practices, and program implementation. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Applicant Information
